Platform 9 3/4 + Camden + Science Museum

I have always been a huge Harry Potter fan. Ever since the book was introduced to us by my English teacher in high school, I have been awaiting for the sequels and collecting memorabilias. So I felt pure joy when we visited Platform 9 3/4 in St. Pancras station.

My ultimate dream place to visit here in England is the Harry Potter Studios. I've been fantasizing what collectibles to add in my collection. Visiting the shop in Pancras is a good strategy to take a look at the items and see what is worth buying.

The line was so long that I felt like it's not worth a try. I promise to have this shot when I visit the studios. Since March, they have added an additional attracttion. They built a Platform 9 3/4 and have the steam train same as the Hogwarts train used in the movies. You can have a photo opportunity for both which I would gladly do.

We had lunch in Sushi Salsa in Camden which was the perfect answer to my cravings in the past days.

Camden was amazing. I love the food markets and the stores that sells the eclectic and cutest things.

These unique journals are so pretty. Too bad I don't keep diaries anymore.

 Our last itinerary for the day was Science Museum.

Thetford Glamping

 

It was my first time to try glamping. We left early and brought our bags and air mattress. It was more than an hour drive from our place. Once we entered the campsite, we saw few parts of the area parked with RVs. The accomodation that we stayed in was one of the pods with sufficient heating perfect for a cozy and comfortable sleep. They also have clean toilets and shower.

In the morning, you could hear the birds chirping. Our "neighbors" have bird feeders outside their trailer and I saw quite a few variety of birds.

My husband and I had a trail walk leading to the forest. They have the tallest trees that I've seen. It was like a scene from Into the Woods. We had an amazing time.

British Museum + London Night Tour

British museum cannot be missed. Surprisingly, it holds not only England's artefacts, but some of the world's prized possessions. There are tombs and mummies from Egypt, ceramics from China, complete samurai attire from Japan, and a lot more.

London sights are fantastic at night. When we scheduled a day out to visit the museum, we made sure we see the usual tourist spots at night. I was in awe.

Magestic London

Traveling Europe has been a dream. Living in England was one of the best decisions made. Traveling and living with the beau in this country was beyond dreams.

Coming from  a tropical country, it was a huge adjustment to move in United Kingdom. In terms of the weather it was a complete opposite. Arrived here on a winter wearing a thick coat but still felt really cold. Sunsets in the Philippines are usually around 5 to 6 pm. Here it was 3. It took some getting used to. But learned to love it.

Touring London started early, wanting to see the sights during broad daylight. Tour started at the Tower of London and ended at Wagamama in Westfield Mall.

Happily Ever After

It has been three years since the last published blogged. A lot of things had happened. I got engaged in 2013, married last year, and migrated in the England this 2015.

Originally this blog is about food. Since I'm embarking a new journey in a totally different country, transitioning from sunny and rainy to four seasons. With doubled types of clothing and now with my beau as a constant photographer, it's fitting to make it a style and travel blog as well.

First post to the "new" blog is the most beautiful dress I've worn. It has been a dream turned reality to wear my wedding gown.
